Terms of Use

By accessing or using Ezly, you agree to these Terms of Use. They apply to both the Ezly webapp at getezly.com and the Ezly Chrome extension.

• Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms
• If you don't agree with any part of these terms, stop using the Service

Ezly is an AI communication platform built for solo professionals (freelancers, consultants) who manage client conversations across multiple platforms. It has two surfaces: a webapp and a Chrome extension.

• AI chat with customizable personas, tone profiles, and a knowledge base powered by semantic search
• Suggested replies generated from live conversation context on supported platforms
• Deal temperature classification that identifies the stage of a client conversation (outreach, discovery, proposal, negotiation, closing)
• Proposal generation (webapp only) that researches the client and job posting before generating a personalized proposal
• Quick reply library for frequently used message templates
• Chrome extension that provides AI assistance directly inside Upwork, Fiverr, Discord, LinkedIn, and Gmail
• Knowledge base with document upload (PDF, DOCX, TXT, MD) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)

The Ezly Chrome extension injects a floating UI panel into web pages using Shadow DOM. It reads conversation content from supported platforms when you activate it. Scraped text is sent to our servers for AI processing over HTTPS.

• You control when scraping occurs. The extension never reads page content automatically or in the background
• The extension only interacts with pages on Upwork, Fiverr, Discord, LinkedIn, and Gmail. On all other websites it's functionally inert
• AI responses are generated server-side and streamed back to the extension panel
• Conversation state is stored locally on your device using chrome.storage.local
• The extension doesn't run analytics, track browsing history, or monitor activity on unsupported pages

You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Ezly supports email/password and Google OAuth for authentication.

• Provide accurate and complete information when you register
• Keep your password and authentication credentials confidential
• Enable two-factor authentication (TOTP or email OTP) for extra security
• Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account

Paid features are available through subscription plans. All billing is processed through Stripe.

• Plans: Free, Pro Monthly ($29/month), and Pro Annual ($239/year)
• The Founding plan ($19/month, lifetime price lock) is closed to new members
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access until then
• Plan changes are prorated. Price changes are communicated in advance

Use Ezly responsibly and in compliance with applicable laws. When using the extension on third-party platforms, you'll also need to follow their terms.

• No illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity
• No unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• No distribution of malware, spam, or unsolicited bulk messages
• No violation of intellectual property rights
• You must comply with the terms of service of any platform you use Ezly on, including Upwork, Fiverr, Discord, LinkedIn, and Gmail
• You're responsible for any content you send using AI-generated suggestions. Ezly doesn't guarantee that generated content complies with platform-specific rules

Ezly uses AI models to generate text. Treat all AI output as a starting point that needs your review before you send it.

• AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, or inappropriate suggestions
• Review all generated content before sending it to clients or posting it anywhere
• Ezly doesn't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated text
• You're solely responsible for messages you send using Ezly, whether you wrote them or the AI suggested them
• AI outputs may vary between sessions even with identical inputs

Ezly and its interface, brand, and underlying technology belong to Silverthread Labs. Your content stays yours.

• You retain ownership of all content you create and upload, including messages, personas, knowledge base documents, and quick replies
• You grant Ezly a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service
• AI-generated outputs are yours to use. We don't claim ownership over text generated for you
• The Ezly name, logo, interface design, and codebase remain our property

Your use of Ezly is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use it.

• We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy at getezly.com/privacy
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time
• Data from the Chrome extension is handled as described in the Privacy Policy, including chrome.storage.local usage and third-party data sharing

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

• We don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service at all times
• We don't guarantee that AI-generated content will be suitable for your specific use case
• Third-party platform changes (Upwork, Fiverr, Discord, LinkedIn, Gmail) may temporarily affect extension functionality
• We're not responsible for actions taken by third-party platforms in response to your use of Ezly

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

• We're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• We're not liable for lost revenue, lost deals, or missed opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the Service
• Maximum aggregate liability equals the fees you paid in the prior 12 months
• Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, in which case the minimum permitted limitation applies

Either party can end this agreement at any time. You can delete your account from your settings page.

• You can cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from your account settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical
• On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Your data will be handled per our data retention policy
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will continue to apply

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where Silverthread Labs operates.

• Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration where permitted
• Class action waiver applies where permitted by law
• You consent to the jurisdiction of applicable courts
